Treecology: 30 Activities and Observations for Exploring the World of Trees and Forests

Treecology: 30 Activities and Observations for Exploring the World of Trees and Forests by Monica Russo

Monica has done a wonderful job at presenting numerous facts about trees and the woodlands in her newest book. The pictures are gorgeous and worth their weight in ink  gold.

The book is full of 30 different kinds of activities that encourage hands on learning and engage the senses. Look at this, observe that, listen, feel, etc.

The back of the book is equipped with a glossary and teachers guide. It's a great resource for those of us that love a living books approach in regards to education. Your child will be pulling your hand and begging you to take a walk just so they can learn more about the trees around them.

My only issue with the book is that it's not coming from a christian point of view i.e. millions of years. However, let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. That issue aside the book is factually sound.

I recieved a book in exchange for an HONEST review.
